Description

Shrijap.com Presents the Mahalakshmi Yantra, a framed yantra made to welcome the grace of the Goddess into your home. Under a banner of blue and yellow with two swastik signs, Maa Lakshmi sits on a pink lotus in each upper corner, her hands raised in blessing.

At the centre, a six-pointed star glows inside a golden circle, with eight red lotus petals opening around it. What makes it special is that the Mahalakshmi mantra is written inside the star itself, so the yantra and the prayer become one. The same mantra runs again along the yellow strip at the bottom. Prayers to the guardians of the directions surround the yantra on all sides. The soft cream background has a Bhojpatra feel, in keeping with the tradition of writing yantras on birch bark.

The lotus is Lakshmi's own flower. It rises from the mud yet stays pure, which is why it stands for grace and spiritual strength. Friday and Diwali are the days most loved for her worship. A dark golden-bordered frame with a built-in stand holds the print. Place it in your pooja room, shop or office. Following Vastu belief, the north or east side is preferred. It also makes a heartfelt housewarming gift.
