Natural Black Shaligram 20-27 Mm

Shrijap.com Presents the Black Shaligram, a natural sacred stone revered in the Vaishnava tradition as a form of Lord Vishnu. A true Shaligram is a fossilised shell, formed over millions of years and carried down the Kali Gandaki river of Nepal, and devotees see it as Vishnu himself present in stone, not made by hand. Its spiral echoes his Sudarshana Chakra, and tradition holds that Tulsi remains forever close to it, which is why a fresh tulsi leaf is the heart of its worship.

At 20 to 27 mm, this single piece is small and light, so it fits easily on a pooja plate, a small stand or a home altar. Since each stone is formed by nature, shape, shade and markings differ, and yours is truly one of a kind. Keep it with a calm, clean heart and a regular offering of tulsi.

Use it for daily Vishnu worship, on Thursdays, Ekadashi and during Tulsi Vivah, or place it as a gentle, devotional presence in the home mandir. It also makes a meaningful gift for devotees of Vishnu, and for new homes.
