Description

Shrijap.com Presents the Gomti Chakra, a natural sea shell treasured as a sacred charm of faith and good fortune. It is named after the Gomti river near Dwarka, the land of Lord Krishna, and its spiral calls to mind the chakra of Lord Vishnu. Each piece is a small glossy dome. Its crown glows in caramel-brown, softening into greenish-grey and cream towards the edges. Turn it over and a soft white spiral winds across the flat underside, as if drawn by hand.

Since every piece is formed by nature, no two share the same shade or swirl, and yours are truly one of a kind. At 16 to 21 mm, they are small enough to sit in a cash box, a purse or a pooja plate. They come in sets of 11, 21 or 51, so you can choose the count your family tradition suggests.

Devotees keep them for Lakshmi pooja, Dhanteras and Diwali, and many wrap them in red cloth near the locker for wealth and Vastu. They also make a graceful gift for housewarmings, shops and new beginnings

How to Use

Wipe each piece gently with a soft, clean cloth. Do not use soap or harsh chemicals.
Place the set on a clean red or yellow cloth in your pooja room.
Light a diya and incense, then offer a flower and a few drops of Gangajal.
Chant "Om Shreem Hreem Shreem Mahalakshmiye Namah", then tie them in red cloth and keep them in your cash box or locker.
