Description

Shrijap.com Presents the Shri Maruti Yantra, a colourful framed yantra dedicated to Lord Hanuman. Under a red banner and two swastik signs, a short prayer asks Ram's faithful messenger to help us as he once helped Lord Ram. On the left, Hanuman flies through the sky, carrying the Sanjeevani mountain in his raised hand. A bold red swastik fills the right side.

At the centre, a tall triangle is built from many small coloured triangles. Each carries a number, a bij letter or a sacred word such as "Marute" and "Hari". It looks like a mountain of devotion rising towards the sky. Along the bottom, the Hanuman mantra is printed on a yellow strip, so you can read it as you pray. The soft cream background has a Bhojpatra feel, in keeping with the tradition of writing yantras on birch bark.

Lord Hanuman is loved for his strength, courage and loyal service. Tuesday and Saturday are traditionally seen as his special days. A dark golden-bordered frame holds the print. Place it in your pooja room, near the entrance or on your work desk. Following Vastu belief, the south or east side is often chosen for Hanuman. It also makes a strong housewarming gift.
