Description

Shrijap.com Presents the small Gomti Chakra, a natural sea shell kept by devotees as a sacred symbol of faith and good fortune. Named after the Gomti river near Dwarka, it is linked with Lord Vishnu and his divine chakra, and its spiral shape carries that meaning in miniature. These pieces are cream-white, with soft honey-tan crowns that fade gently into the shell. On the flat side, a fine white spiral winds in quiet rings.

At 9 to 13 mm, they are tiny and light, so a whole set fits in a pooja plate, a purse, a small pouch or a cash box. Because each piece is formed by nature, shade, patch and swirl differ slightly, and yours are truly one of a kind. They come in sets of 11, 21 or 51, so you can choose the count your family tradition suggests.

How to Use

Wipe each piece gently with a soft, clean cloth. Do not use soap or harsh chemicals.
Place the set on a clean red or yellow cloth in your pooja room.
Light a diya and incense, then offer a flower and a few drops of Gangajal.
Chant "Om Shreem Hreem Shreem Mahalakshmiye Namah", then tie them in red cloth and keep them in your cash box or locker.
