Place the thali on a clean surface and put the roli and chawal in the katoris
Fill the lota with water and light the diya with the ghee wick
Read the katha and perform the puja and aarti
Look at the moon through the channi, then at your husband, and break your fast with water from the lota
Wipe gently with a soft dry cloth and keep away from water, to protect the paint and lace
