Shrijap.com Presents the Swastik Diya Design Karwa Chauth Thali Set of 11 Pcs. It is a hand-painted Karwa Chauth thali for a woman who wants her vrat to begin with an auspicious sign.

This swastik Karwa Chauth thali is built around the holy symbol. A sparkling swastik, set in tiny stones, sits at the heart of a deep maroon plate. It is ringed by a green border and a lotus-petal pattern drawn in white and yellow. Small silver diya motifs and gold dots lie between the petals, while pink scrollwork and fine yellow strokes run around the rim. The channi, lota and both katoris carry the same red and gold painted finish. The diya stands on a small lotus-shaped base, a detail you will not find on most plain sets.

Everything for the puja is included. The Karwa Chauth poster shows Karwa Mata, Lord Ganesha and the moon in the traditional puja chitra, and the vrat katha book carries the puja vidhi, the four stories and the aarti. Add a mehndi cone and bindi pack for your shringar, and roli chawal, an earthen diya, a ghee wick and cotton wicks for the evening aarti.

It makes a lovely Karwa Chauth gift for wife, a bahu or a sister, and a Karwa Chauth pooja kit a new bride will keep for years.

How to Use

Place the thali on a clean surface and put the roli and chawal in the katoris
Fill the lota with water and light the diya with the ghee wick
Read the katha and perform the puja and aarti
Look at the moon through the channi, then at your husband, and break your fast with water from the lota

Care: Keep the painted surface dry and away from soaking and scrubbing. Wipe it gently with a soft dry cloth, and rinse the inside of the lota before use. Store it in a clean, dry place, wrapped in a cloth, so the paint and stones stay bright.
